As I watch the rain crashing down from my little suburban window and sip on lemongrass tea (freshly picked lemongrass from a rain washed window), I cannot help but share with you some of my favorite recipes to make in the rains. They’re warm and comforting and everything that you want monsoon food to be!

  1. Donuts

  7. Patole: Rice and Coconut dumplings in Turmeric leaf
  8. Ragda Pattice
  9. Masale-bhaat (recipe video)

Hi Saee. Reading your post while eating TOMATO SAAR & BHAAT (with lots of ghee) and papad.

Kadhi, Khichdi, papad and achar. Varan Bhaat, Kanda bhaji pav and all sorts of bhajis with adrak chai. The list will go on and on isn’t it? Your post has made my mind linger into extending the list & am enjoying it. Bageshri. Happy Monsoon

I have made your egg curry so many times now and love the technique of porching the eggs directly in the curry. I plan to try your ragda pattice soon and that Pita bread recipe has been bookmarked for so long…I guess its time to shake my lazy bones and make some this weekend. I do owe you some pictures, next time i make something I’ll remember to click before I lick. 😛 LOL!
